Summary
TRYPTYC is currently looking for a hands-on, experienced, talented and creative Executive Visual Effects Producer to join our Toronto studio.
The Executive VFX Producer is a senior role and has internal and external responsibilities. They manage the direct client relationships, are the key client contact and are the escalation point responsible for the overall production budget, P&L and project profitability. Internally the The Executive VFX Producer is responsible for making sure producers within their team are keeping projects on budget and running smoothly jumping in where possible, but not necessarily dealing with the day to day.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience as an Executive VFX Producer.
- Proven track record in bidding and client management.
- A thorough understanding of VFX including 2D and 3D execution methodologies.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and collaboration skills.
- Great command of current post production procedures/pipelines, terminology, and techniques.
- Strong proficiency of Shotgun and Excel.
- Successful candidates are organized, detail-oriented, proactive, self-sufficient, and reliable.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada (Ontario based preferred, but we are flexible).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Identifying and pursuing leads for new business, including pitch and initial bid creation.
- Building and maintaining Tyrptyc's long term client relationships
- Oversee management of all aspects of the studio's creative and project management teams.
- Overarching responsibility for budgets, schedules, resources, and general strategy for executing assigned shows on time and on budget.
- Support show teams in managing client expectations and conflicts.
- Mentor and help more junior members of the team.
- Overall studio resource levelling and identifying key areas for talent acquisition and development.
