Role Description

This is a full-time Executive Director role located on-site in Houston, TX at The H.E.A.R.T. Program. The Executive Director is hands-on, responsible for overseeing the organization's operations, fundraising, managing finances, and leading a team to ensure the program's success. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors led by an active founder of the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, and a dedication to furthering the mission of The H.E.A.R.T. Program.


Qualifications

  • Leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills
  • Experience in non-profit management and working with individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
  • Knowledge of local resources and support services for individuals with disabilities
