Executive Business & Technical Operations Manager

This Multi Location Growing business in Providence, RI is seeking a high-caliber professional with a deep understanding of business operations, technology, and strategy to work directly with our senior executive team. You will be our right-hand person in optimizing business processes, managing high-level technical projects, and improving operational efficiency across multiple business units. Executive Business & Technical Operations Manager Tasks:

• Work directly with the senior executive team to analyze business performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive strategic decisions.
• Take charge of key projects such as PIM implementation, CRM optimizations (Zoho), and API integrations with vendors & ERP systems.
• Lead data-driven decision-making by designing dashboards, reports, and models that support business growth.
• Attend operations and management meetings, providing insights to improve business performance.

Technology & Business Process Optimization

• Analyze ERP (Activant Prophet 21), CRM (Zoho), and Business Intelligence systems for optimization opportunities.
• Manage data integrity, develop SQL queries, API integrations, and automation solutions to streamline workflows.
• Oversee and coordinate third-party consultants and IT teams for high-priority initiatives.

Financial Analysis & Decision Support

• Build financial models, forecasting tools, and cost-saving analyses to improve business profitability.
• Develop detailed reports that provide actionable insights into sales, expenses, and operational efficiencies.

High-Level Project Management

• Lead the execution of cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Identify and document inefficiencies in current business processes, proposing and executing data-driven solutions.
• Implement project management best practices, ensuring all business units operate at peak efficiency.

Executive Business & Technical Operations Manager Qualifications:

✅ Technical & Analytical Mastery

• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, VLOOKUP, Macros, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Strong database management (SQL, ODBC, API integrations, and systems interconnectivity).
• Experience with Zoho CRM, ERP platforms (P21), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

✅ Business Operations & Strategy Mindset

• Ability to evaluate and improve company-wide operational workflows using data-driven solutions.
• Proven track record of leading business transformation projects using technology.
• Understanding of process optimization, business intelligence, and financial modeling.
