What You’ll Be Doing:
Position Summary: The Finance Coordinator reports to the VP - Finance in Pune and serves as an executive assistant, ensuring seamless operations across various finance verticals at Evolent International's Pune office.
Essential Functions:
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance and manage the VP - Finance's calendar.
- Facilitate efficient meeting experiences by scheduling in advance, avoiding overlaps, and setting agendas.
- Manage paperwork, signatures, timesheet submissions, and approvals, acting as a delegate for timely sign-offs.
- Develop an understanding of the VP - Finance's requirements and be readily available to support them.
- Take ownership of monthly finance packs, OKR tracking, all-hands presentations, and firm-wide materials.
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting, reporting, and other needs from the finance leadership group.
- Collate key data points and finance metrics for the VP - Finance on a regular basis.
- Drive initiatives for career enhancements within finance verticals.
- Build and manage agendas for 1:1 meetings, all-hands meetings, and manager’s meetings.
- Act as a coordinator among different finance teams.
- Enhance the onboarding experience for new finance hires to ensure high employee engagement.
- Drive the rewards and recognition program for the finance team.
- Coordinate travel plans for the VP - Finance and other finance team members.
Required Experience:
- 0-5 years of experience as a finance executive or executive assistant in a large or mid-sized company.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with executive leadership.
- Ability to handle various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the finance organization.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage activities within scope without follow-up.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytics with attention to detail.
Mandatory Requirements:
Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of
50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
