Position Title: Executive Assistant
Status: Full Time Administration
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: $83,292 ; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.
About The Executive Assistant Role
The Executive Assistant will have a key role in providing confidential, operational and executive-level support to members of the Office of the Senior Vice President Academic leadership team. The incumbent will use well-developed organizational skills, knowledge of higher education and the academic priorities, sound judgement, discretion and resourcefulness to perform office management-related tasks in support of the Office of the Senior Vice-President, Academic, and their portfolio.
Responsibilities include: assisting in the resolution of complex, highly sensitive and confidential administrative matters; managing multiple calendars; preparing business related correspondence including briefing notes, business cases, reports and letters; managing the budget and portfolio expenses; overseeing projects; and leading or participating in various committees and meetings while demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and initiative. In addition, the incumbent will provide leadership for department functions; direct inquiries as appropriate; and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The incumbent will supervise the Administrative Assistant, and work with a team of Executive Assistants to carry out the mandate of the executive office. The incumbent will identify opportunities for efficiencies to meet business needs and build administrative frameworks to support the work of the office.

Education
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in related field of study.
Experience/Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, HR Management Information Systems

- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
