Summary

Position: Executive Account Manager


Blush is a fast-growing, high-end matchmaking company seeking an exceptional, emotionally intelligent, and detail-oriented Matchmaker to join our boutique matchmaking service. In this highly personalized role, you will work directly with high-net-worth clients—managing the full scope of their matchmaking experience from onboarding to successfully managing the history of the relationship. 


This is a people-first, high-touch position that requires outstanding communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and confidence in navigating nuanced emotional and interpersonal dynamics. You must possess strong intuition, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of what makes people compatible, both on paper and in person.


We’re looking for someone who can handle complex conversations with tact, offer thoughtful and honest feedback, and make real-time decisions with clarity and confidence. You’ll need to balance warmth and professionalism, manage expectations, and guide clients with empathy while holding firm boundaries and maintaining control of the process.


Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, building deep rapport and managing their matchmaking journey end to end.


  • Assess client needs, preferences, and goals to identify well-matched potential partners.


  • Lead sensitive conversations with confidence, compassion, and clarity—including navigating client disappointment or managing conflict with diplomacy.


  • Provide constructive feedback to both clients and matches to improve outcomes and ensure continued alignment.


  • Make timely, smart decisions in fast-paced or emotionally complex situations.


  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of client communication and documentation.


  • Collaborate with the internal team to continually refine matchmaking strategies and improve client satisfaction.


  • Operate with discretion, integrity, and the utmost professionalism in all interactions.


  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment—this is not a 9-to-5 role and requires a true self-starter mindset.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to adapt your tone, style, and approach to a wide range of personalities.


  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal insight—you intuitively “read the room” and respond accordingly.


  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, with the ability to stay grounded, solution-focused, and diplomatic in challenging or emotional situations.


  • Confidence in giving and receiving feedback—you can deliver constructive insights with warmth and clarity, and grow from feedback yourself.


  • Strong decision-making ability under pressure—you think clearly, act quickly, and take responsibility.


  • A client-first mentality with a commitment to excellence, trust, and long-term relationships.


  • No prior matchmaking experience is required, but relevant experience in high-touch client services, recruiting, luxury hospitality, counseling, or similar relationship-focused fields is highly valued.
