Position Description: The duration is for The Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Analyst will be responsible for championing EVMS methodologies across the organization, ensuring compliance with government reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will be an expert in ForProject EVMS software, with a deep understanding of DoD acquisition regulations and a proven track record of mentoring teams and enhancing financial management frameworks. Responsibilities: * The EVMS Analyst is responsible for managing program financials and ensuring compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards * This role involves implementing data-driven analytics to enhance program performance, interfacing with various functions to generate forecasts and reports, and supporting financial performance strategies * Manage program financials including forecasting, revenue, Operating Margin (OM), and profitability analysis * Implement and maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance * Interface with other functions to generate forecasts, actuals, and variance reports * Perform analyses to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government guidelines * Develop and review Baselines and Estimates at Complete (EACs) * Work with finance and business management teams to improve financial performance * Prepare reports and provide recommendations to program management teams * Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance * Develop the consolidated Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan * Support proposal development and submission Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related STEM field. * or High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience in business, finance, or accounting * Prior program cost control experience, including EVMS on Development programs * Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and EVMS software * Prior financial analysis and reporting experience * Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations * Defense Industry Experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Experience with customer requests for proposal (RFPs) * Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently * 3+ years' experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Public Accounting experience * Strong GAAP accounting proficiency * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Prior experience in Estimating and Pricing * Experience with CostPoint, Net Suite or similar Preferences: * Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles * Certified EVMS Professional (EIA-748) or related certifications * Experience working with Earned Value tools such as Deltek Cobra, Primavera P6, or MS Project * Familiarity with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) surveillance reviews * Understanding of Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) and Contract Data Requirements List Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year Application Deadline: June 30, 2025 Please click "Apply" to submit your application.
