Summary

Position Overview

The Events Operations Assistant supports event logistics, technology, and onsite execution to ensure seamless experiences. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, vendor management, onsite support, and post-event tasks.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support, develop and maintain event technology including Mobile Apps, QR Code Integration and any other onsite resources needed for successful event execution (i.e. Onsite Nametag Printing)
  • Assist in planning, organize, and execute a wide range of events including seminars, conferences, retreats, client appreciation events, networking receptions, and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistics plans, ensuring all details are meticulously coordinated and executed.
  • Source and manage vendors, venues, caterers, and other event-related services to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Oversee onsite event management, including setup, registration, AV requirements, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during events.
  • Evaluate event success and gather feedback to continuously improve future events and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance event experiences and optimize resources.
  • Handle post-event tasks such as expense reconciliation, attendee follow-up, and reporting.


Secondary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel to off-site events is required.
  • Ability to work late hours to attend firm events is required.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds without assistance.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.


Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a corporate or professional services environment.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically MS Word with the ability to perform mail merge function, PowerPoint and Excel required.
  • Prior experience with Photoshop a plus.
