The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Support Specialist to join our Marketing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate, plan, and execute various marketing events and activities. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences that align with our brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination: Organize and manage all aspects of marketing events, including logistics, vendor coordination, venue selection, and scheduling.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless execution of events.
- On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, including setup, coordination, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align event strategies with overall marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of event plans, budgets, and outcomes, and prepare reports for management review.
Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within a marketing context.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
