Rapidly growing Silver Spring-based event design and production company seeking an experienced Event Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is designed as a training pathway to become an Event Sales Manager, offering hands-on experience in client relations, social media management, and event design/ production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Experience Management: Respond promptly to inquiries, schedule discovery calls, and guide potential customers through the creative sales process. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Sales Support & Administrative: Prepare proposals, keep projects on track with regard to budgets and timeline, communicating effectively with all internal and external stakeholders - clients, vendors, venues, and team.
• Collaboration with Creative & Production Teams: Support designers and production staff to develop and execute high-quality event environments.
• Business Development & Market Research: Identify new sales opportunities, stay informed on industry trends, and contribute to growth strategies under the direction of the President and CEO.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years in a similar special events role
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and curious mindset with a passion for events and marketing
• Background in social media management and content creation a plus
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Professional background in one or more sectors a plus: floral, scenic design, audiovisual, lighting, graphic design, decor
• **MUST BE local to the DC area for on-site work, some weekends and evenings expected**
