The Role:

Mastering SAP is part of the largest global SAP B2B enterprise technology events in the world attracting 1,000s of paid attendees to the event portfolio. The hallmark of our events is the depth of content and sessions at each event.

As part of the global family of brands, we hold more than 12 global events annually each having deep educational and experiential sessions in each event. In APAC we currently run four annual events across the region. Mastering SAP leverages a research first process in developing the ideal content for each event program. You will be responsible for the overall content programs and speaker selection for each event and summit across the globe.

The Event Programming Manager is a hands-on type-A content leader that is self motivated, always puts member attendees and speakers first and is driven for high performance for the company.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Manages a research based event programming methodology to create compelling event session and speaker agendas across the B2B Technology landscape.
• Owns an event content Persona portfolio of key roles and functions to build compelling educational content around.
• Research industry trends, identify market challenges and opportunities, conduct competitive event analysis and aggregate information to identify the story arc of each event program.
• Build deep relationships with speakers across the Mastering SAP / SAPinsider Expert community of over 9,000 content contributors.
• Manages a comprehensive session grid programming process across all events.
• Identifies, engages and manages all speakers with strong communications and continuous relationships with speakers before, during and after events.
• Accountable for meeting all event programming timelines and deliverables.
• Organizes, writes and compiles all session abstracts and speaker biographies for an event landing page.
• Publishes all session decks and recorded sessions to the website.
• Manages all session elements leading up to the event, including speaker presentations and loading event app content.
• Ensures smooth execution of all event content and provides a high level of customer service throughout both live and virtual events.
• Perform post-event speaker follow-up, content analysis and reporting metrics.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant event programming experience or in a journalism function with responsibility for sourcing and writing articles on enterprise technology or business disciplines.
• Proven experience with building educational content or event programs.
• Keen ability to target and recruit compelling speakers for each event.
• Passion for telling stories through event experiences.
• Exceptional program and project management skills.
• Strong editorial and communications skills.
• Able to travel globally to our events.
• HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, email systems experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business, marketing, journalism, technology or related discipline.
