My name is Shannon, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a -------- Events Program Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in --New York, NY (Hybrid). Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Duration: 7 months
Pay: $45-51/hr.
What You’ll Do
In NYC:
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of NYC-based events with 50+ attendees, ensuring flawless delivery and high stakeholder satisfaction.
Provide white-glove planning support, prioritizing elevated hospitality and attention to detail.
Globally:
Manage a team of contingent event specialists, overseeing weekly meetings, progress tracking, timecards, and hiring/contract extensions.
Build strong partnerships with Workplace, AV, Security, and other teams for cohesive event planning and execution.
Maintain a centralized data and reporting system, using feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Oversee large-scale, high-impact events, managing timelines, budgets, resourcing, and execution across global hubs.
Develop and refine SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure consistent, scalable service quality.
Support global ticketing during high-volume event days to maintain responsiveness.
Act as project manager for key company events, including milestone celebrations, anniversary parties, and End-of-Year events.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
4+ years in event program management, with a focus on facilities, office management, workplace services, customer service, and event management.
Proven success delivering white-glove planning for corporate events with 50+ attendees, ideally in NYC.
Experience in tech or fast-paced environments is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
Skills:
Proficient in Google Workspace and Slack for collaboration and communication.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for exceeding expectations.
Data-driven approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team leadership skills.
