The Event Network Manager is responsible for interfacing with clients to facilitate their telecommunications orders and needs. The Event Network Manager will work closely with the sponsoring organization, its partners, exhibitors, and Facility Services NOC and engineering team to ensure service delivery.
Responsibilities Include (not limited to):
Primary contact for sponsoring organizations
Receive telecom requirements from client
Generate quote for service based on client requirements
Selling, planning, and detailing all network and telecommunications orders for each event
Work with NOC and Engineering team and local CWA union for strategic planning
Act as liaison between Facility Services and clients
Stay in communication with client(s) before and during event to ensure all requirements are met
Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
BA Degree preferred or five years with event network management experience
Experience as an Event Network Manager, Event Technical Planner, Telecommunications Manager or Technical Meeting Planner is highly beneficial
Possess a strong knowledge of current telecommunications and networking practices
Well-developed interpersonal skills; experience working with a diversity of clients, professionals and staff members
Positive attitude and able to motivate staff and offer hospitality services which exceeds guest’s expectations
Strong written and oral communications skills
Organized, able to prioritize and have strong time management skills
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000
