Role: Event Host, Promoter & Content Creator (Part-Time)

Location: Toronto, Ontario (On-Site)

Compensation: Revenue-Based

We’re looking for an energetic and creative individual to join our team as a Event Host, Promoter & Content Creator. In this hybrid role, you’ll be the face of our events—hosting engaging experiences, driving local promotion efforts, and creating fun and dynamic content that captures the essence of our events online.

Key Responsibilities

Event Hosting

• Plan, coordinate, and execute themed events and social mixers
• Manage logistics and ensure smooth event operations
• Welcome and engage attendees to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Train and lead volunteers when needed

Event Promotion & Sales

• Strategically promote upcoming events on social media and messaging platforms
• Drive RSVP and ticket sales through personal outreach, local partnerships, and online marketing
• Identify local opportunities for collaboration or cross-promotion

Content Creation

• Capture photos and videos during events for social content
• Create engaging Instagram stories, reels, and posts to showcase the event experience
• Highlight attendee testimonials and behind-the-scenes moments
• Share event recaps and upcoming promotions to grow our online presence

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in event hosting or public-facing roles
• Strong knowledge of Instagram and other social platforms
• Confidence in video creation and being on camera
• Comfortable leading groups and creating a fun, welcoming environment
• Experience in sales, marketing, or community engagement is an asset
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Access to a vehicle is desirable for city-wide events
• Access to a printer is a plus
