Summary

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, requirements, and target audience
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of assigned events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, transportation, lodging, budgeting, and timelines
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as registration, attendee tracking, and on-site support
  • Prepare event materials, including presentations, agendas, name badges, and promotional items
  • Manage event budgets and provide regular reporting on expenses
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure necessary services and equipment within budget constraints
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including venues, vendors, speakers, and entertainment to ensure seamless event execution
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event collateral, invitations, and
  • promotional materials
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event planning and management

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in the commercial real estate or related industry
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Proficient in event management software and tools, such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms
  • Expertise in budget management and financial reporting
