Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including corporate meetings, weddings, and social events.
Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness for each event.
Select and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and materials.
Develop and maintain event timelines to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate logistics, including catering, transportation, audiovisual needs, décor, and staffing.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing updates throughout the planning process.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and vendors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
