Event Assistant – MACFRUT 2024 (May 6–8)

About the Role

FreshXchange is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and reliable Event Assistant to support our Kenya Partner - GOTFRUIT at MACFRUT 2025, Europe’s leading fresh produce trade fair.

You'll play a key role in helping us engage international buyers and producers at our launch booth — and be part of a growing global movement to digitize fresh produce trade between Africa and the world.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage attendees at the FreshXchange/GOTFRUIT booth
• Distribute branded materials and QR codes to targeted booths across the expo
• Share platform details with visitors (we'll train you)
• Encourage attendees to scan and register interest via form
• Record key conversations and assist in booth setup and breakdown

Requirements

• Based in or able to travel to Rimini independently
• Strong communication skills in English (Italian or other EU languages a plus)
• Comfortable approaching and speaking to people professionally
• Interest in events, trade, agriculture, or marketing is a bonus
• Available May 5–8 (includes setup day)

Compensation

• €80/day + performance bonus
