Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ETL Tester with Automation expertise to join our Data & Analytics practice. The role involves validating ETL workflows, automating data validation processes, and ensuring high data quality for enterprise-grade data platforms. This opportunity is with one of the Big 4 consulting firms and is ideal for professionals passionate about data, automation, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and data requirements to develop test strategies for ETL processes.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for validating data pipelines.
• Perform end-to-end ETL testing including source to target data validation, data transformation logic, and data integrity checks.
• Automate ETL test cases using tools such as Selenium, Python, or any relevant framework.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to ensure proper understanding and coverage of testing requirements.
• Identify and report defects; track and validate defect fixes using test management tools.
• Support regression, performance, and UAT testing cycles.
• Document test results and provide detailed test reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries to validate data.
• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.
• Proficiency in any automation scripting language (Python preferred).
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or Data validation frameworks.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Data Warehousing and BI reporting tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins/Git.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
