Job Title: ETL Developer/Database Developer

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Database Developer to join our team and play a critical role in the implementation of a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) system for our airline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management, including experience with SQL Server, as well as excellent communication skills to facilitate a smooth system transition, data cleaning, and data transfer. You will also contribute to the front-end and application layer through HTML and Java development, ensuring a cohesive and efficient system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain database solutions using SQL and PostgreSQL to support the MRO system.
• Create and optimize stored procedures to enhance data processing efficiency and enforce business logic within the database.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
• Create and manage SSIS packages for data integration and migration between various systems.
• Design and implement ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data.
• Assist in the maintenance and engineering of business-related applications, providing insights to optimize data utilization.
• Participate in data cleaning and validation efforts to ensure high-quality and accurate data transfer.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with a solid understanding of database architecture and optimization.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing stored procedures in both SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in HTML for front-end development.
• Proficiency in Java for application layer development.
• Expertise in creating and managing SSIS packages.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of .NET development is preferred, along with experience in maintenance and engineering applications in the aviation sector.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
