Overview

The ETL DataStage Developer will work within the Enterprise BTO department, with a focus on developing and enhancing DataStage ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in migrations, troubleshooting, and process optimization, and will thrive in an agile development environment.

Position: ETL DataStage Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance DataStage ETL (11.x) solutions for reporting and data requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis for data issues and provide resolutions.
• Identify process gaps, automate tasks, and enhance system stability.
• Analyze agile user stories, design prototypes, and develop/deploy quality solutions.
• Make code changes in DataStage ETL and Unix jobs.
• Support production applications and deliver improvements based on business needs.
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of DataStage (ETL) experience (mandatory).
• Experience with migrations is a must.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Quick learner with a proactive approach to improving development processes.
