A leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor based near Bedfordshire is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic pre-construction team. The company delivers flagship residential groundworks and civil engineering projects across the Midlands and surrounding regions, partnering with some of the UK's most prominent housebuilders.

The Role

• Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for residential groundworks and civils projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information
• Produce bills of quantities, cost plans, and value engineering options
• Work closely with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover

About You

• Proven experience as an Estimator within groundworks or civil engineering
• Strong understanding of residential infrastructure projects (roads, sewers, foundations, plotwork's)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress within a growing company
