We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team in Central New Jersey. The Civil Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects, including site work, roadways, utilities, and infrastructure.

Description
The Civi Estimator With Be Responsibile For:
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Prepare bid packages and proposals for both public and private sector projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff during pre-construction.
Maintain historical cost data and support budgeting efforts.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
Ensure all estimates are completed on time and in accordance with industry and company standards.
Profile
A Successful Estimator Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in estimating civil construction projects.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Experience:
DOT, municipal, or utility project estimating.
Familiarity with prevailing wage and public bidding procedures in New Jersey.
Working knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.
