Job Purpose: Estimator prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents. Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Job Responsibilities: Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications: * Prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements * Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents. * Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents * Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. * Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. * Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. * Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. * Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data. * Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications Education, Skills, Experience & Abilities: * High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent. * 3 to 5 years' experience working in Printing environment * Computer experience, Microsoft Office products experience - Strong Excel Skills a Must * Experience working with customers and Sales * Project management experience * Quality focus, problem solving, phone/email, resolving conflict, and multi-tasking skills * Knowledge of print terminology a plus, but not required.
