Terco Enterprises specializes in all aspects of heavy civil site work, including mass excavation, underground utilities, retaining walls and site finishes. We are searching for a highly motivated estimator with experience in all facets of site work to become part of our growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process. 

Responsibilities

· Evaluate bid/project risks, strategies & analyze construction methods to provide competitive bids with solid knowledge of estimating all material, labor & equipment.

· Perform detailed takeoffs for all aspects of the work to create accurate quantities for subcontractors, vendors and final bid package.

· Collaborate with owners, engineers and contractors to prepare cost estimates.

· Compile and create final bid packages with all documentation for clients, with professional courteous follow up procedures.

Qualifications

· Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

· Professional team player with strong communication skills, able to complete project deadlines with professionalism

and accuracy.

· Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written and communication skills.

· Proficient with MS Office, Agtek, Bluebeam and HCSS.

· Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

· 3+ years of estimating, cost control or engineering experience.

· Full-time position with ability to attend after-hour meetings if necessary.
