The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project by preparing construction estimates from civil plans.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand civil construction plans
• Perform quantity takeoffs from plans
• Perform material takeoffs from plans
• Input estimate information into estimating software
• Maintain a high work ethic which includes but is not limited to GADCO Safety Policies
• Performs other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in construction/engineering discipline (or equivalent experience), preferred
• Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, interact, and complete duties under tight deadlines
• Must be organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
• 1 - 3 years' of construction experience preferred
