A prestigious private estate on an exclusive island in the Bahamas is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and property maintenance. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in luxury estate management, boutique hotel operations, or high-end hospitality. The Estate Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the property, maintaining high service standards, and managing a diverse team of staff and contractors.

Recruit, train, and manage a team of housekeepers, groundskeepers, chefs, security personnel, and maintenance staff. Oversee scheduling, performance management, and staff welfare. Ensure a high standard of service and hospitality for the property owners and their guests.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high standard of service and hospitality for the property owners and their guests.
  • Property Maintenance & Engineering:
  • Supervise all aspects of estate maintenance, including landscaping, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the estate operates efficiently.
  • Ensure a luxury-level guest experience, managing food and beverage services, housekeeping, and activities.
  • Coordinate events, private dinners, and special requests.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the property owner and guests.
  • Manage all budgets


Qualifications:

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in luxury estate management, private island operations, or boutique hotel management. Strong background in staff leadership, hospitality, and engineering/maintenance. Experience working in remote locations with an understanding of logistics and supply chain challenges. Knowledge of marine operations (boats, docks, etc.) is a plus. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations. Strong financial acumen for budget management and procurement. Fluency in English; additional languages a plus. Willingness to live on-site or travel frequently as needed.
