Job Summary


We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our professional estates management team dedicated to our clients. You will work closely and report to the Lead of the Account in managing the client’s portfolio, developing the client service level and providing transactional and operational excellence to the account.

Key Roles And Responsibilities


  • Work within the day-to-day operations of the Estates Management function, ensuring they deliver on time all necessary reporting, transactions and financial reporting requirements.
  • Interface directly with the Client to understand and interpret the Client’s needs, the demands and changes within their broader business environment, and investigate and advocate how CBRE can best support the Client.
  • Primarily, the candidate will oversee the branch and office network working closely with the respective business in determining the retail distribution strategy for the bank.
  • Represent the client as the Tenant in leasing properties to support the business requirement of the client with or without appointed brokers.
  • Negotiate and working with the respective landlords including but limiting to government agencies to achieve the best price and conditions for the Client in new tenancy agreement, renewals, license reviews and termination of licenses.
  • Site inspection is required to determine the new location or renewal discussion.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with respective functions such as facility (FM) and project management team (PjM) in resolving tenancy matters such as operation issue, reinstatement/hand over process.
  • Take ownership, track and update client and business that all transactions to ensure timely action taken within the lease and license period.
  • Adhere to the transaction process including approval and payment such as advance payments, security deposits, recurring rents, insurance charges and any other related costs to ensure minimal gaps and risks to the client
  • Conduct due diligence check on landlords in accordance with the account’s governance, risk and compliance policy
  • Support in the drafting and review of agreements, highlight any deviations or anomalies that may require engagement and approval from legal team and the Client
  • Liaise with Portfolio Services team in the region to update the agreements and licenses in lease management system in a timely basis
  • Generate the necessary POs for payment for agency fee and others.
  • Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships and where applicable
  • Assist and support the client’s Asset Divestment program if any with the assistance from the appointed brokers to bring forth potential buyers for the properties adhering to the client’s divestment process.
  • Provide all necessary reports to update the performance of the lease in properties and assisting the collation of quarterly reports or management update if required
  • Collaborate and maintain close reporting relationship with Account team in Singapore to provide highest level of service and consistency as per the Master Service Agreement
  • Work with relevant stakeholders in yearly budgeting exercise and review of valuer panel
  • Any other ad-hoc transaction activities to assist the team as a whole or as requested such as tax related issue, insurance and business permit assistance.

Job Requirements


  • Qualifications in Business, Real Estate, or related discipline is desirable
  • Relevant lease transaction or landlord representative experience is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
  • Strong communication and analytical skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
  • Ability to ensure availability and responsive to client’s, landlord’s, and management’s requests or queries on a timely basis
  • Proactively managing customer relationships
  • Fluency in English and local language
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in addition to being a team player
  • Proactive self-starter with a curious mind set to bring positive change to the team
  • Presents solutions to problems, escalating in a timely manner where necessary.
  • Client centric mind set and driving Customer Service Levels
  • Strong negotiation skills with good attention to details
  • Good time management and multitasking skills, (1) able to work with accuracy under pressure and meet deadlines and (2) start to show understanding on how to manage concurrent tasks in parallel and prioritize accordingly
  • Good analytical skills : qualitative and quantitative with reasonable presentation skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft excel and other Microsoft office tools
  • Sensitive to cross-cultural exposures
