Job Summary: We are seeking an ERP System Manager to support the day-to-day operation, configuration, and strategic evolution of our ERP system (Infor LN Cloudsuite - Aerospace & Defence). You’ll work closely with IT, engineering, manufacturing, service and finance teams to ensure the ERP supports business needs, drives efficiency, and enables high-quality data extraction for decision-making. You should be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to think end-to-end about processes and system interfaces across the organisation.
The Role - You will report to the Head of Enterprise Systems.
- ERP Management & Administration
- Maintain and optimise the ERP system, including configuration, user access, and security.
- Coordinate ERP updates, testing, and integrations with external vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure system stability and performance across business functions.
- Process & Interface Support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and how they translate into ERP workflows.
- Evaluate and maintain system interfaces with other business-critical systems (e.g. PLM, PPM, Manufacturing, Service, Finance tools).
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvement.
- Data Extraction & Reporting
- Design and support data extraction solutions and integrations for reporting, KPIs, and analytics.
- Partner with users to develop and refine dashboards and reports that support operational and strategic goals.
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems
- Project & Change Management
- Lead or participate in projects related to ERP enhancements, new module rollouts, and process changes.
- Document system changes and support training efforts across user groups.
Required
Qualifications and experience:
- Significant hands-on experience administering and supporting a modern ERP system (e.g., Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite).
- Solid understanding of ERP concepts and processes in a manufacturing or engineering-led environment.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Strong data skills: SQL, data extraction/reporting, and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Birst, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Understanding of system integration methods and tools (APIs, middleware, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Direct experience with Infor LN (especially in a manufacturing context).
- Background in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing (e.g., aerospace & defence, maritime, custom equipment).
- Experience working with PLM or MES systems.
- Experience with multi-site organisations.
- Exposure to compliance or regulated environments (Export Control, ITAR, etc.).
