Title: Business Systems Analyst – Workday ERP (Financials & HR)
Location: Hybrid – Chicago, IL
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (W2) Extensions possible
Rate: Open (W2 only)

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with Accounting and HR teams to gather business requirements and design functional solutions.
· Translate end-user needs into detailed functional specs and support technical design.
· Lead JAD sessions, write user stories, and ensure INVEST/definition-of-ready principles are met.
· Support implementation and integration of COTS software solutions.
· Create mockups, data mapping plans, and process improvements.
· Perform analysis using SQL and reporting tools for ad hoc data needs.
· Document system diagrams, workflows, and process maps.
· Participate in software rollouts, code releases, and production support.
Requirements:
· 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
· Hands-on experience with Workday (Financials or HR modules).
· Familiarity with LMS, matching gift programs, or reconciliation tools is a plus.
· Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/SCRUM, and business process modeling.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience with tools like Visio, Excel, UI wireframing tools is a plus.
