Summary

Job Purpose

The IMS Commercialization Coordinator is responsible for creating all new Items, Bill of Materials, and Suppliers in the IMS system (NetSuite).

Also reviewing Sales Forecast, Planning, and Schedule Production Lines, maintaining proper inventory and meeting Sales Demand while maintaining flexibility and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities Include

  • Create new Items in NetSuite (Raw Material, Packaging, WIP, and Finished Goods)
  • Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Review and ensure accuracy in Bill of Materials
  • Create new suppliers in NetSuite
  • Plan production in accordance with Forecast and Sales Demand, lock schedules 5-7 days out
  • Assist stakeholders on improvements in scheduling efficiencies, including Run Rates
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and annual records for quick referrals
  • Monitor and adjust schedules according to the company's needs
  • Communicate schedule changes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure schedules align with overall company goals
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts in a professional and efficient manner
  • Provide administrative support as needed to ensure efficient and effective scheduling processes
  • Model and support the Candy Co Safety Culture and strive for 100% Safety policy compliance
  • Knowledge and daily compliance of all GMP and Food Safety programs.
  • All other duties assigned by Planning & Scheduling Manager that support the overall business needs

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Lead experience.
  • BS degree in MIS, ERP Systems, Business, or related field preferred, not required
  • Strong communication skills and ERP System proficiency required
  • Bilingual language skills preferred, required (English & Spanish)
  • Expertise required in EXCEL/NetSuite, or other ERP system functions and abilities
  • Superior knowledge of Sales Forecast/Sales Demand/Production Scheduling required
  • Must be a Team player and respectful of others; ability to organize and facilitate meetings
  • Highly organized self and ability to multi-task
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
  • Past job performance must reflect dependability, maturity, initiative, positive personal

demeanor and the ability to exercise good judgement.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Working Conditions

  • Knowledge and daily compliance of all GMP and Food Safety programs
  • Must be an avid Safety Champion and adhere to all Safety programs & Procedures
  • Ability to work overtime and/or weekends, or Holidays when required
  • Ability to adjust to work changing conditions, flexibility and adaptation is key

Physical Requirements

  • A non-slip resistant work shoe recommended
  • Clean and sanitary self-presentation daily
  • While in the plant, compliant with any/all GMP & Safety Policies set forth
