ERP Business Conversion Lead – Accounts Payable (AP)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Conversion Lead – AP to lead and execute data conversion efforts for a Workday (OneERP) implementation focused on Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense (T&E). This role will play a critical part in the transformation of financial systems, ensuring clean and complete migration of data from legacy ERP platforms to Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end AP and T&E data conversion strategy and execution during the Workday implementation.
• Oversee the extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of data from legacy ERP systems to Workday.
• Manage the migration of vendor master data, 1099s, open invoices, open purchase orders, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.
• Support historical data loading into Workday Prism and build analytics using Workday Prism, Looker, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal project teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading data conversion efforts for AP and T&E in ERP implementations, preferably Workday.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and data elements specific to Accounts Payable.
• Experience with data mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Prism, Looker, and Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Experience with Google BigQuery or other large-scale data platforms.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Lawson Cloud v11 and Workday Financials.
