As an ERP Application Specialist, you'll assist with internal process automation, system testing, and ticket resolution, contributing to the smooth operation of critical university systems. This role is ideal for those who are detail-oriented, solution-focused, and eager to develop in the field of enterprise technology. * Operate and improve ERP-related data quality processes. Write scripts to do ERP data analysis and clean up. Automate internal department processes and tests.  * Assist in performing upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting ERP and other enterprise applications.  * Collaborate with coworkers and customers using strong communication skills. Communicate with IT and business individuals and teams, including describing complex problems in a non-technical manner.  * Help the university accomplish its mission by completing other duties as assigned. Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor's degree in related field; OR Associate's degree in related field plus 2 years of experience related to the essential functions/duties of the position OR any combination of higher education and experience directly related to the essential functions/duties totaling 4 years.  Preferred Qualifications Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor's degree in related field plus 1 year of experience related to the essential functions/duties. At least one relevant technical certification (Data+, Linux+, etc.).  Licenses/Certifications Successful completion of in-house assessment of job related skills (within 60 days of hire), or 1 years proficiency in position.Knowledge * Knowledge of relational database concepts including SQL, data modeling, and leveraging of existing APIs.  * Familiarity with system engineering concepts.  Skills * Intermediate skills in using SQL, PL/SQL, or other databases query languages.  * Baseline skills in programming and software engineering.  * Baseline skills in creation of test plans and test automation.  * Baseline Linux systems administration skills.  * Technical writing and documentation.  * Strong customer service. Abilities * Ability to communicate clearly and exercise effective interpersonal, problem-solving, team-oriented, and decision-making skills, where a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.  * Ability to resolve problems by thinking logically, identifying tasks, and coordinating with functional and technical teams.  * Ability to collaborate with technical staff, functional users, and other stakeholders.
