Equipment Integration Engineer
Characterize, Design, Test, Deploy, and Support Equipment Integration hardware and software solutions to new and existing tools in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform semiconductor equipment SECS/GEM communication and process scenario characterization
- Document Equipment Integration requirements for new equipment purchase
- Work with Process, Equipment, MCS, MES, and AMHS Engineering teams to development Equipment Integration software solutions
- Coordinate and monitor service installation with Facilities and Equipment Engineering teams
- Deploy Equipment Integration software and hardware to new and existing tools
- Configure and deploy FDC and APC solutions working with Process, Equipment, AMHS, and Controls Engineering teams
- Maintain status of Equipment Integration development and deployment in project tracking software
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience with SEMI Standards Tool controls
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (REL 7 or 8) and/or Microsoft Server OS
- TypeScript/JavaScript/C# programming experience
- Tcl (Tool Command Language) programming
- Python programming experience
- SQL programming and data manipulation
- Bash shell script programming and/or Windows PowerShell script
- Self-motivated and able to work well with limited direction and supervision
- Equipment Interface into a semiconductor MES
- SEMI Standards: E5, E4/E37, E30, E90, E94/E40, E87, E84
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Detail oriented, organized with sense of ownership of area of responsibility
