PS Companies is working with a local government department to find a temporary Electronic Health Record & Laboratory Information Systems Project Manager.

Minimum pay rate: $55 per hour

Overall Key Responsibilities

• System Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the OCHIN Epic EHR and Clinisys LIMS platforms, monitoring performance and minimizing downtime​.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with vendor support teams and internal staff to address technical issues
• Enhancements & Upgrades: Lead planning and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades, coordinating testing and validation.
• Project Management: Develop project plans, timelines, and documentation. Track progress, communicate status to stakeholders, and manage scope changes, risks, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle​.
• User Support & Training: Serve as a subject-matter expert for the EHR and LIMS systems and provide technical support.
• Data Reporting: Collaborate with data analysts to generate and validate reports from the EHR and LIMS. Ensure data integrity and help produce actionable insights (e.g. public health reports, lab trends) for leadership and regulatory reporting​.
• Regulatory Compliance & Security: Ensure systems comply with HIPAA, CLIA, and other relevant regulations. Manage user access controls and data security measures​.

Qualifications:

• Minimum college/undergraduate degree (e.g., B.S. /B.A.) in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Healthcare required (equivalent work experience will be considered). Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum three years project management and software systems implementation experience required. Certified Project Management Professional preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience required. Public health practice experience desired. Behavioral Health and population health management, in addition to outpatient primary care is preferred.

This role will require full medical onboarding.

Work Schedule: 40 hr/wk @ 8 hr/day. Possibility for 2 days remote/week.
