Role Objective:
- To lead the execution of Design and Build EPC projects with full accountability for time, cost, quality, and safety performance.
- The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and company standards while promoting innovative approaches to improve efficiency.
- Prior experience in industrial and commercial facility projects in KSA or the GCC is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive innovation by introducing modern construction methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of qualified subcontractors and suppliers in coordination with Procurement.
Project Execution & Operations:
- Review and interpret contract documents to ensure complete understanding of project scope, specifications, and deliverables.
- Approve project budgets and coordinate with Planning and Cost Control to prepare and maintain updated project schedules and resource plans.
- Lead and manage the timely preparation, submission, and approval of technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Optimize manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure project efficiency and cost control.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of site records including material delivery notes, manpower logs, and daily activity reports.
- Monitor material flow and validate all material requisitions and site transactions.
- Oversee progress reporting, site updates, and milestone tracking for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, follow-up on certification and payments, and support Finance in receivables collection.
- Coordinate subcontractor payments, evaluations, and certifications.
- Enforce site standards in line with company policies and maintain professional site image.
- Lead coordination meetings, issue weekly site progress photos, and ensure project alignment with engineering and planning teams.
- Manage variation orders, claims, and commercial correspondence in coordination with the Contracts and Planning departments.
- Ensure timely issuance of project completion certificates, end-of-project reports, and close-out documentation.
- Maintain legal compliance and support risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage site logistics, workflow structures, authority matrices, and organizational charts to streamline execution.
- Oversee the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) plans on-site.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and that no unauthorized changes are made.
- Capture and submit lessons learned and job closure documentation for continuous improvement.
People Management & Development:
- Support HR in recruitment and onboarding of construction staff and labor.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support for the development and training of project team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the construction division, enhancing processes and team capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- PMP and LEED Green associate certifications are required, MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in managing EPC Design and Build projects, with a focus on Fast Track industrial and commercial facilities.
- Proven project delivery experience within KSA or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, project controls, and HSE regulations in the region.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with construction management software and reporting tools.
