Our local authority client, based in South East London are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Protection Officer. Your duties will include investigation and response to complaints in relation to allegations of statutory nuisance, assess and approve s.61 applications, permitting and responding licensing consultations.

In order to be considered, you must have working knowledge and understanding of the nuisance provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, knowledge of Licensing legislation and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Your CV must also show that you have been working within this field for at least the last 3 years.

The is a 3 month contract, starting ASAP. Pay rates will start from £38 per hour.
