Primary Responsibilities

• Review environmental assessment reports and work plans for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Oversee installation and startup of remediation systems, ensuring effective and compliant implementation
• Monitor remediation system performance, operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
• Manage procurement of remediation system materials and chemicals
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
• Prepare cost estimates for potential and existing environmental liabilities
• Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates
• Develop project scopes of work and budget estimates, particularly for engineering tasks
• Supervise remediation activities conducted under Maryland’s Voluntary Cleanup Program

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Proven ability to manage and maintain project budgets
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations
