Spicer Bridge Consultants is looking for a full-time Bridge Design Engineer with 0 - 4 years of experience in our Orlando office. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage design and CAD production for bridges and other transportation structures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and construction cost estimates
• Perform preliminary bridge design and assist in report preparation
• Perform construction related services including design of temporary structures, evaluation of bridges for construction loads, shop drawing reviews, and occasional field reviews
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to resolve design issues

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Engineer Intern (EI) Certificate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Responsible with a good attitude and detail orientated

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MicroStation
• Experience with MathCAD, LEAP Concrete, STAAD, FB-Pier, Atlas, and ShoringSuite
• Experience with FDOT Structures Design Guidelines and AASHTO Bridge Design Manual
