If you have any questions about our application requirements and procedures, call us using the phone number listed on this website. 0-2 YEARS AIR QUALITY CONSULTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED DSG Solutions, LLC (DSG Solutions) is an expanding environmental consulting firm that specializes in assisting power and steam facilities manage their air quality compliance programs with an emphasis on supporting Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS). We offer significant growth potential with a competitive salary and benefits package and our offices are based in Gardner, Massachusetts and Shoreline, Washington. This position is open within either office. DSG Solutions is seeking a full-time entry level consultant with a B.S/Masters/Ph.D. degree in atmospheric science, engineering, or physical sciences to assist our current clients manage their air quality compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have (a) experience demonstrating their strong interest working within the air quality industry, (b) excellent verbal and written communication skills, (c) experience managing data in spreadsheets, (d) an acute attention to detail, (e) proficiency with e-mail and word processing, (f) excellent organizational skills, as well as (g) a strong willingness to learn and initiative to take on additional responsibility over time. Experience with exhaust emissions from combustion sources as well as state and/or federal air quality regulations such as the Acid Rain Program, the Cross State Air Pollution Rule and/or New Source Performance Standards are added benefits. The successful candidate will work with CEMS data to review and prepare power and steam plants required air emissions compliance reports for submittal to state and federal government agencies. Other activities will include developing CEMS monitoring plans, CEMS quality assurance/quality control plans and air management compliance tracking tools. The position may also include evaluating/specifying Data Acquisition and Handling System (DAHS) configurations for consistency with applicable requirements and conducting Air/CEMS/DAHS training for facility personnel. The successful candidate will be expected to build a technical knowledge base with the training and experience that he or she will be provided. The position may involve routine site visits and occasional overnight travel.
