Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Enterprise Network Support L2 Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco Meraki products to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 support for enterprise network environments, focusing on Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, routing and security solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide L2-level technical support for enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki wireless access points, switches, routers and firewalls.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues escalated from L1, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Perform configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Cisco Meraki hardware and software solutions.
  • Manage network security policies, VPN configurations, and firewall rules within the Meraki dashboard.
  • Proactively monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation through Meraki monitoring tools and s.
  • Analyze and resolve LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network security issues in a multi-site enterprise environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, server, cloud) for integrated network solutions.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in change management processes, including planning and implementing network changes.
  • Coordinate with Cisco Meraki TAC (Technical Assistance Center) for unresolved issues and firmware/feature updates.
  • Educate and mentor L1 support teams on basic troubleshooting steps and processes.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise network support roles, including L2 responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki products, including:

Wireless Access Points (MR series)

Security

Switches (MS series)

Meraki Dashboard management

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN (IPSec, SSL), NAT, and network security concepts.
  • Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, network routing and switching principles.
  • Experience in remote network support and troubleshooting using Meraki tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-managed networking concepts and operations.
  • Ability to analyze packet captures and identify traffic flow issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist
  • CCNA (Enterprise or Security)
  • CCNP (Enterprise or Security)

Qualification And Educational Requirements

  • Any degree in an IT related field is preferred
