Seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architecture Modeler to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in creating a model of our client's IT enterprise architecture, implementing the client’s vision of a Model-Based IT Enterprise Architecture that will inform key leadership decisions. You will collaborate with IT Enterprise Architects and other stakeholders to model an IT enterprise architecture using industry best practices.
Responsibilities Include
Create and maintain a model-based IT enterprise architecture.
Work closely with IT Enterprise Architects to determine model views and gather needed data.
Work with partners that are not familiar with modeling and help them translate their IT architecture into a model.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (M.S. preferred); and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering, with proven experience translating concepts into SysML or UML.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
Excellent communication skills for technical writing, oral briefings, and executive-level products.
Ability to consider IT architecture issues from many different perspectives.
Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and advancements.
Preferred Qualifications
Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
SysML Model Builder Intermediate or SysML Model Builder Advanced certification.
Experience analyzing compliance with an IT Enterprise Architecture.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, Genesys, etc.).
