Optomi, in partnership with a global market leader in the healthcare and life sciences sector, is seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect for a hybrid position out of their offices listed above. This candidate will support the company’s dynamic and growing enterprise architecture function, with a focus on M&A (mergers and acquisitors) initiatives. This individual will work closely with senior leaders to develop architectural integration strategies, rationalize systems, and ensure seamless transitions during acquisition activity. This is a high-impact role that bridges business and technology, reporting to the lead architect for M&A integration. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical expertise and autonomy, with the ability to own solution architecture deliverables from post-diligence through execution.

Experience of the right candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in solution architecture, with a strong emphasis on system integration and data integration.
- Expertise in application rationalization and legacy-to-modern platform transitions.
- Background in software development with familiarity across a diverse tech stack.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Azure exposure a bonus).
- Understanding of modern authentication protocols (e.g., Okta, IAM).
- Familiarity with Java, .NET, Spring Boot, containerization (OpenShift), and front-end frameworks like Angular.
- Exposure to FHIR Analytics and regulatory/compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading or participating in large-scale project delivery and risk management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in the life sciences, clinical, or pharma industries.
- Experience with M&A integration is beneficial, though not required.
- Ability to operate autonomously, communicate effectively, and lead architectural efforts without needing micromanagement.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for M&A integration projects following intake from the lead architect.
- Design integration patterns and system connectivity plans across acquired entities.
- Lead re-hosting/re-platforming initiatives and application rationalization efforts.
- Create blueprints for systems integration, infrastructure alignment, and secure data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, security, and business units.
- Participate in the architecture review process and mitigate technical risks.
- Ensure architectural solutions align with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
