This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in overseeing strategic acquisitions and major change projects across a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.

About the Role:

As a trusted member of the global Risk function, you will work closely with teams across the US and UK to ensure that acquisition and transformation risks are proactively identified, assessed, and managed. You’ll be instrumental in providing oversight on integration activities and project lifecycles, driving consistency, and enhancing risk governance on cross-regional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second line risk oversight for acquisitions, strategic investments, and change programmes.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and contribute to risk reporting for senior leadership.
  • Perform project-based risk assessments and ensure effective mitigation plans are in place.
  • Maintain and track risks via RAID logs; escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with global Risk, Operational Risk, and Change Management teams.
  • Deliver post-implementation reviews and lessons learned analyses.
  • Contribute to risk metrics and board-level reporting.
  • Be the key point of contact for the Risk Change & Integration team in the US.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant US regulatory frameworks (SEC, FINRA, CFTC, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Risk, M&A, Strategy, Change, or Transformation within financial services.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management and regulatory expectations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – both conceptual and practical.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, juggling multiple projects.
  • A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Advanced degree preferred but not essential with equivalent experience.

Why Apply?

  • Work for a fast-growing, resilient and diversified financial group.
  • Be part of a forward-thinking team that drives impact through transformation.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term development prospects.
  • Contribute to a truly global business with a strong presence across the US, UK, and beyond.
