Job Summary of the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager: Primary focus of this position is management of a team of infrastructure specialists and support technicians. We are looking for someone with experience owning an enterprise infrastructure, including cloud, network, servers, desktops, and end user support. The individual will be responsible for managing the team, but should also be a strong technologist, able to understand and jump in as needed to help manage our technology stack. We have partnered with vendors for many "day to day" support capabilities, including SD-WAN, SOC, printer support, level 1 helpdesk, and other "commodity" IT services. The individual would need to interface frequently with key business stakeholders, manage 3rd party infrastructure vendors, as well as manage the infrastructure team. This position reports to the VP of IT. Enterprise Infrastructure Manager Key Duties & Responsibilities: * RFP, negotiate, and select partners for IT hardware, software and services as needed for company operation. Examples include SD-WAN and NOC mgmt., SOC, Enterprise Printing, Production Printing, MS contracts, Cloud Hosting, and DR capabilities. * Manage IT hardware purchases and leases including desktops/laptops, software, servers, switches, printers, RF devices, etc * Ensure we have a reliable network, including assisting with design and ensuring proper management * Install hardware and peripheral components (such as monitors, keyboards, local and network printers, and disk drives, etc) for users * Work with stakeholders and key users directly on requirement and to ensure support issues are addressed quickly. * Communicate with vendors for onsite repairs and communication outages, telephone system support, and other outsourced applications * Design, manage and assist with rollout of facilities security and camera systems * Perform weekly meetings with Infrastructure team members to determine progress of projects Performance Standards for the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager: * Assist with security monitoring and response * Network uptime monitoring and response * Monitor and drive user security awareness and training * Project management What We Are Looking For in an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager: * Personal Characteristics * Entrepreneurial drive and the desire to "build a business". * Character and Integrity-Does the right thing even when no one is looking * Disciplined approach, and accountable for driving Infrastructure business objectives. * No excuses mindset.
