About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join a dynamic team in the healthcare space. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, leveraging Snowflake and related technologies to support data architecture and data management efforts within a leading healthcare organization. The position is remote, and we are looking for candidates based in the United States.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture solutions to support healthcare data initiatives.
  • Lead the development and optimization of Snowflake-based data pipelines and data models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business needs and ensure seamless integration of healthcare data systems.
  • Provide expertise in data governance, data quality, and security to meet healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and effective data architectures to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage data migrations and integrations from legacy systems to Snowflake.
  • Ensure that data architecture is optimized for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Snowflake and Snowflake-related technologies (e.g., Snowpipe, Snowflake Data Cloud, etc.).
  • Proven experience working with healthcare data, including knowledge of healthcare data standards, compliance (HIPAA), and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and optimizing data architectures and workflows for large-scale data systems.
  • Expertise in cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration strategies.
  • Experience with data governance, security, and quality frameworks in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining focus on long-term strategic goals.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools.
  • Knowledge of big data platforms and tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark).
  • Healthcare certifications or relevant industry experience.
