VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an Expert Enterprise Architect to work from the European Commission.

The role:

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

• Manage the development team and all the strategic projects assigned to it, as well as the risks and

stakeholders

• Work with the Business analyst to gather requirements and created the roadmaps for each year

• Plan the projects and created the necessary artefacts

• Organise and manage user acceptance testing campaigns (UAT)

• Follow up of new technologies and eventual adoption by the sector;

• Development and integration of multiple information systems or modules into corporate solutions;

• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the systems;

• support the efficient project team work by putting in place and following agile practices

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Excellent knowledge of the design and development of web applications;

• Excellent knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML5, XML);

• Excellent command of coding best practices, software design and architecture patterns;

• Good knowledge of IT security concepts and secure coding guidelines

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

• Proven 10 years experience in Java-related technologies, including J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Log4J,

XML/XSL/XSLT, XQuery, XPath and Oracle WebLogic

• Proven 10 years experience in service-oriented architecture and web services: RESTful API, SOAP,

WSDL, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Oracle Service Bus, YAML;

• Proven experience in relational database management systems Oracle SQL, PL/SQL;

You have:

To have a Master's Degree

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS:

A PM professional certification would be an asset.
