Responsibilities: (Minimum 10 Years):

• Working knowledge of common storage, backup and compute technologies.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Open Systems operating systems, OS and storage virtualization technologies, local and wide area networking.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with backup and recovery concepts, techniques, and products.
• Hands-on experience deploying configuring, and administering EMC
• Networker, Rubrik, Commvault, Data Domain, Avamar, Data Protection
• Advisor, NetBackup, BackupExec and Data Protection Manager (DPM).
• Knowledge and experience with VMware backup integration.
• Extensive knowledge of replication approaches, technologies, and products.
• Knowledge of backup technologies and best practices used in large multitenant environments.

Server Management:

• Expert experience with Windows Server 2003 and higher.
• Knowledge of Windows Server.
• Knowledge of VMware physical to virtual migration techniques.
• Experience with data center cabling and server racking.
• Expert Experience with Solaris or Linux administration.
• Strong experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows servers, customers, clients and related technologies.
• Attention to detail, consistency and thoroughness Proficiency with advanced Excel tools and data manipulation techniques.
• Government project experience.
• Knowledge of prevalent system monitoring tools and protocols (Nagios, SolarWinds, Whatsup, SNMP).
• Strong administrator with enterprise-level experience performing Windows system design, implementation and administration in complex environments including virtualized, multitenant, shared or cloud-based environments to include Azure, AWS or Google.
