Job Title: Enterprise Architect – E-Commerce (Promotions & Loyalty)

Compensation Range: $65-$85/hr

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architectural strategy for omnichannel e-commerce systems, with a focus on Promotions and Loyalty. This hybrid role based in San Francisco will collaborate across tech and business teams to define scalable, secure, and modern architecture aligned with industry trends and business objectives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Define and implement scalable, cloud-based architectural solutions for e-commerce systems
• Collaborate with tech, product, and business teams to shape strategy
• Lead architecture for modernization, focusing on microservices and event-driven design
• Translate business needs into robust technical designs
• Present architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Guide internal and external partners on alignment and best practices

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years in software development; 5+ years designing e-commerce distributed systems
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in e-commerce environments
• Strong background in microservices, architecture patterns, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with promotions and loyalty domains
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Located in or near San Francisco and available to work PST hours in a hybrid setup
