Job Description – Enterprise Architect
Be a Trusted Advisor: The role of the Enterprise Architect (EA) is to partner with customers through their journey from use case identification to technical qualification, advising on solution architecture, and supporting implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study the customer’s current IT footprint (Oracle and non-Oracle).
- Identify pain areas and analyze existing solutions, uncovering undiscovered problems.
- Collaborate closely with different customer LOBs to understand solution scope, business benefits, and costs.
- Provide sizing, capacity estimation, and develop cost benefit cases.
- Recommend optimal Oracle products (On-Prem or Cloud) to meet customer needs.
- Manage engagement during project transitions from pre-sales to implementation, ensuring solution continuity.
- Explore account mining opportunities within customer accounts, working with sales and internal domain leads to develop pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Solution Mindset: 15+ years of experience ensuring customers receive the right solutions and trust.
- Technology Domain: Strong background in architecting and implementing solutions:
- Custom application development (Java/J2EE, Python, Databases).
- Enterprise Application Integration.
- Workflow and Business Process Automation (BPMN).
- Enterprise Content and Digital Asset Management.
- Business Rules Engines.
- Cloud Native Microservices Architecture and Design (Containerization).
- Proficient with SQL & NoSQL datastores (preferably Oracle).
- Designing HA and DR architectures.
- Exposure to Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Open Source technologies.
Cloud Technology Domain:
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services, Security, and OCI PaaS.
- Alternatively, experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Certifications such as OCI Solution Architect/Developer or equivalent.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).
- Deployment of Virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware).
- Cloud Native Microservices and Serverless on OCI or other platforms.
Business Domain Expertise:
- Deep knowledge in Banking/FSI or Logistics/Supply Chain, or across multiple domains.
- Market Trends/Research:
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
- Evaluate Oracle’s product/services position in the market and advise stakeholders accordingly.
- Additional Skills:
- Proven track record with tier-1 Indian customers.
- Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences.
- Collaboration with Oracle Domain Leads and SMEs.
- Mentorship of Domain Leads and SMEs.
