Job Description
Victoria University is seeking a strategic and visionary Enterprise Architect to lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide architecture frameworks that align with our technology strategy and business mission.
As a key leader within Digital and Campus Services, you will provide authoritative advice to senior executives, oversee the Architecture Review Board, and ensure all initiatives align with the University's digital principles. You will also manage the Architecture Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

About The Role
This is a full time position at a HEP 10 classification ($137,624 per annum + 17% employer superannuation) working 36.75 hours per week over a continuing contract period. This position is located at our Footscray Park campus.
In This Role, You Will
- Drive enterprise-wide architecture strategies, frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
- Provide expert advice to executive management and influence strategic decisions.
- Lead governance processes, roadmaps, and business cases for digital transformation.
- Oversee financial, budgetary, and resource allocations for enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Build and develop a high-performing architecture team to support University objectives.
- Engage with technology vendors, consultants, and external industry experts.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, strategic planning, and digital transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in governance frameworks, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Qualifications or certifications in TOGAF, EA3, Zachman, or relevant frameworks (desirable).
- Experience working in a tertiary education institution or similarly complex environment (desirable).
